our story

The vision for Atty Bear’s Playhouse began as the dream of a former educator turned stay-at-home mom of three wild, wonderful boys. Like many parents, she longed for a space to bring her children on the days that felt overwhelming — when she needed a break, a breath, or just a little joy outside the house.

Too often, play spaces didn’t meet the needs of her family. The age gaps between her boys made it hard to find somewhere they could all enjoy together. And by the time the outing was over, she often left overstimulated and more exhausted than when she arrived — constantly scanning the room, counting heads, and trying to keep track of everyone.

So she dreamed of something different:
A play space that was calm, beautiful, clean, and fun for a range of ages.
A place where parents didn’t have to chase their kids around if they didn’t want to.
A space where moms and dads could co-work, relax or catch up and grandparents could feel capable and included.

That dream has now become a reality — and it’s called Atty Bear’s Playhouse.

We’re so honored to welcome the families and caregivers of Wesley Chapel into this space. May it be your peace — and your child’s favorite place.
